Toning Tuesday

I went to the gym Saturday - warm  up on the bike, then W2D1 C25K and some ST.  AND I went Sunday!  Warm up on the bike again then I did the 30 min curves-like circuit training.  it's better than curves since you can actually set the weight limits on the ST machines.  I am SO SORE right now.

Monday - rest

Tuesday - no gym, but I'm going to a free wellness class at my chiropractor

Wednesday - bike - W2D2

Thursday - Circuit training

Friday - bike - W2D3

Re: Toning Tuesday

  • I am so disappointing. I didnt do anything last week, I gained all the weight back that I lost from WW and totally sh!t the bed on starting again this week.

    I did go skiing for 7 hours on Saturday that totally kicked my butt somethin fierce. We are going again this Saturday, but to a smaller resort that isnt as challanging. Im still feeling some sore spots that actually make me smile to know what a workout I got from it.

    The weather is going to be fairly warm for Feb/March so I think Im going to pull our bikes out this week and start riding again.

  • I got new shoes yesterday & ran with them & I have to say, I'm absolutely in love. They're so light on my feet & my shins didn't hurt like they usually do. I'm looking forward to putting in some strength training & getting serious about training for this 5k.

    What kind of shoes did you get?  I thought about going to charm city running store to get them to watch me run and find me shoes that won't hurt my shins when I start running outside again.  It's not as bad on the dreadmills...

  • Ha, I can actually join in on this post this week since I've actually been going to the gym! Last week I did some treadmill walking on Tues, went to a Step class on Wed, more treadmill and a little stationary biking on Thursday. Yesterday, a work friend convinced me to try spinning. Somehow I didn't die, but it was pretty hard and my butt hurts today!

    hat kind of shoes did you get?  I thought about going to charm city running store to get them to watch me run and find me shoes that won't hurt my shins when I start running outside again.  It's not as bad on the dreadmills...

    They're some kind of Nikes.  I went to the Delaware Running Company & the guy watched me walk & told me why my shins were hurting when I run. It was the most fantastic experience ever.

    I haven't done anything this week because I've had a horrible sinus infection.  Last week I did make it to the gym a few times to walk on the treadmill.
