A friend of mine emailed me last night asking for suggestions for bday gifts for his wife. He is going to Vegas on Friday and can shop there for her - he wants to get her something really fabulous. He normally does jewlery or really nice shoes (like Jimmy Choo, etc) as she likes shoes a lot. But he wants to do something different.
Naturally I start to think of what "I" would like cause that is normal, so I wanted to soliciete some opinions about what else he could do. While I'd be totally fine with nice shoes or jewlery (oh, the agony - ha ha), I came up with:
- an entire day at the spa
- really nice purse
- super nice PJs & robe- like silk, awesome pattern, etc
They live in WA and I do know she loves to cook, but I have no idea what kind of cooking gift would be "fab". TIA!
Re: Fab gift ideas please
You can never go wrong with a spa day or a nice purse!
Some other ideas...
Night at the theater (with limo pick up, etc.)
Nice watch (which I guess is jewelry related)
Weekend/Night away (either with hubby or girls weekend)
Whole spa days are amazing!
Does she need a pricey cooking gadget? Copper bowls? New pots? Too "blender" like?
I think a whole fabulous "date day" with whatever she's into. Spa, limo, dinner, theater...clubs
Or golfing or hiking, or amusement park.
Or weekend away to a 'dream' location.
I think I've gotten to the point where I value time and experience more than stuff...unless I really really want something specific.
I totally agree! (Now, does your friend offer free advice to other husbands?!)
My three sons!
