When did you start shaving over your incision? Liam is 3 months old and I am still petrified to shave right over my incision. Please tell me it will be ok and I can start shaving over it.
Re: C-Section Mamas Come In
I'm only two weeks out from mine so I have no advice, but I understand the fear -- I am scared to wear pants and normal underwear
Any idea when that gets better?
Good luck with shaving!
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Thanks!
I started wearing regular underwear around 8 weeks, but I made sure they were a little baggy. The material sticking to my incision bothered me more than the top of the underwear touching my incision. I wore sweats and other gym-like pants until about 8 weeks as well. I still have to buy pants a little big but that is due to my pooch getting in the way.

For me, it was purely psychological. I knew it was healed, but I'd never had surgery before so I just didn't know what it was going to feel like. I think I made it a bigger deal than it needed to be.
