My medication was stolen...blessing in disguise!

As most of you know, I have a back injury that I've been plagued with for years. I take pain medication multiple times a day. B/c I'm now in NC and my Dr is in SC, I have to get my meds shipped to me in the mail. I've never had any problems with getting them to me (besides being late here and there), but when I got it this month someone had straight up *STOLEN* over half of them. Like, I think a FEDEX employee opened the package, took a huge handful of them, then taped the package up, and sent it on its way. It was a huge ordeal, pharmacy audits were done, detectives were called, tears were shed, so I drastically cut back on my meds b/c I needed to make sure I had enough to last me the month. Lo and behold, I ended up pg and can't take the meds any way! The last time I got knocked up, I stopped taking my meds cold turkey as soon as I found out, but then I ended up m/c about a week later. Even though my OB said that she didn't think the abrupt stop of my medication was to blame, I can't help but think to myself that it was. This go around, before my medication was stolen, I had drastically cut my intake well BEFORE I got knocked up so I can't help but think the whole thing was a blessing in disguise b/c the pg seems *so much different* than before. It really is amazing to me how this world works sometimes! I'm not saying that if this baby bean is a sticky it's all due to the fact that my meds were jacked, but it's times like these that make you realize everything really does happen for a reason.
