I doubt he will resign - his ego is too big. However, I agree that he won't run again.

Then again, there are enough people who think he can do no wrong, so he may run again based on that hope!

I had read somewhere this morning that his mother is ill and that's why he has not been around lately.

I wonder if it has something to do with that...

I think he definitely will not run again, and I am 50/50 on whether or not he will resign.

Not a fan of his, and think he is a tool, although I do feel bad if he is truly having personal family issues.

I missed that there's going to be a press conference, but is there another scandal beyond the police / bodyguard issues? I'm betting he's not seeking another term and that Bill Peduto is having a dance party in his office right about now.

Most definitely. Although, Peduto irritates the sh!t out of me. He is so freaking whiney!

i was thinking it was far more scandelous until the article mentioned his mother being ill. it sounds like that may be the issue at hand. though i do think he's on the verge of being busted big time for wrong doing in connection with the ex police chief. i suspect he ousted the chief in an effort to cover his own butt.
