Hello Ladies,
I don't post much but something came up the other day and I could use some feedback
So the about a week ago we got some of MIL's mail, because it had DH's name on it and the Post Office forwarded it to us. So I told MIL about getting it and she said "Oh that's H's Life insurance I have on him and have had since him and his brother were 2."
I feel strange about it and I brought it up to DH and he said well she has had it since I was 2 it's not a big deal.
I want to know how you ladies would feel if you were in my position.
Re: Am I over reacting
My mom has one on me that she's had since I was a baby, and DH's parents have one for him too.
My mom keeps meaning to send me the info so I can make DH the beneficiary, but you know... life happens and you forget.
I don't think it's anything to be concerned about, and totally normal and actually very good practice. I'll be doing the same thing for my kids

Same! I know my parents took one out for me when I was an infant- it's meant to cover final arrangements just in case.
I'm with the other ladies on this one. My parents have one for my sister and I. We actually took over the policies ourselves and have named our spouses beneficiaries on it. I think it is a great thing....nothing to sweat over.
