GTKY: WWYD with a day off?
If you had a full day with no obligations, no husband, baby, work, NOTHING....what would you do? I want details. Tell me your whole day. It's All. About. You.
ETA: Not that your husband, baby or work don't exist, but that you have a full day "off duty" with no responsibilities to anyone but yourself.
Re: GTKY: WWYD with a day off?
I'd start of by sleeping as late I as I wanted. Then I'd get up, but not have to rush to get ready, I'd want to sit and sip on a cup of coffee and relax for a while.
Then I'd go meet my sister or a friend for lunch followed by pedicures and massages. After our pampering we'd do a little shopping and maybe go out for a margarita on a warm patio somewhere.
I'd wrap up the evening my getting in my yoga pants and a baggy hoodie and watching movies while eating ice cream or enjoying a glass of wine.
Bailey's response sounds good
I would definitely sleep in but that used to mean until ten or eleven and now I am lucky if I make it to nine!
I think I would like to get a pedicure and maybe a little relaxed shopping (not being rushed by DH or baby like usual)
Then a bottle of wine, a couple girlfriends and my fondue pot
Oh and somewhere in there a nice long shower where I have enough time to properly shave and relax!
I just want a nice easy slow day where I am not being rushed to do a million things and be expected to meet Ava Nichol's needs, DH's needs, keep an eye on my 17 year old brother and make sure he is doing what he needs to and his needs are met and cleaning up after everyone. Moving into our own place two weekends from now will definitely help my stress level since I will only have to worry about myself, DH and Ava Nichol!

I'm going to assume that I have unlimited finances as well.
I'd start off by sleeping in, probably around 8:30/9 AM. Then I'd have a nice cup of coffee accompanied by a hubby prepared cheese omelet and bacon.Once I was finished with breakfast I'd head off to the spa with a few of my closest girlfriends where we'd be showered with full body massages, a facial, haircut/style, manicure, and pedicure. We'd also have lunch catered there for us so we could enjoy girl talk and relaxation. I'd head back home so that the hubby and I could go back out to a nice meal and then a movie of my choice. To round out the evening we'd partake in a little ST and fall asleep watching Chopped on The Food Network or something equally cheesy
sleep in.
treat myself to breakfast out with a nice, awesome cup of coffee and i would likely read a trashy magazine while sitting quietly.
mani/pedi. or if funds are an issue, i would head home to paint my nails myself.
walk through a craft store by myself. and maybe the mall.
take a nap.
watch tv in bed.
take another nap.
take a hot bath with my favorite lush products.
make a call to my mom without any distractions.
possibly work out.
miss my baby. and husband too.
Sleep in late (this would really be a dream, because the latest I can sleep lately is 8)
Spa day (massage, facial, mani/pedi)
Gather all my best friends from all corners of the country and have a great meal out, preferably sushi
drinks and a chick flick.
What I actually did today with the day off:
wake up at 6am
eat mac and cheese
nap
do laundry
TTC since Feb 2012
Diagnosed with PCOS and anovulation
2 round clomid 1 round femara--no response
1st round injectables/IUI 1/31---BFP!
sleep in late and have someone serve me breakfast in bed complete with a cheese omelet, bacon, and hash browns.
it would be summer on my day off so I would get lotioned up and go lay out by the pool or on a beach alone with the perfect playlist on repeat.
swim to cool off. eat hot dogs for lunch.
go home, get dolled up, go out for a girls' night.
get home at a decent hour so I can get into my pjs and watch movies with DH.
Nice long walk with my dog
Breakfast tacos
Mani/pedi/massage
Lunch on a patio
Shopping
Leisurely dinner and maybe a movie
my blog
I'd spend my morning at the gym: a weights class, followed by a nice long spin class.
Home for a nice, long, hot shower.
Then, I'd meet my BFF for lunch (with wine), mani/pedis, and shopping.
I'd want a date night with my husband - a concert and dinner (with more wine) in the city.
