It's actually not raining right at the moment, but it was this morning. The news station said we were in for a full day of rain, just like they said the last few times, but yet again it stopped after about 30 minutes. We need a real storm!

we met the summer before 8th grade at summer camp. We didn't date. I thought he was a HUGE nerd.

depends. hmmm. I can think of a lot of places.
I am going to say disney world (but once the kid is here and old enough to enjoy it) dh really wants to go.

When/how did you meet DH, and how long have you been together? I met DH at a bar. We actually went to the same high school but didn't know each other. He was a senior and I was a freshman. We didn't exactly hang out with the same type of crowd. He was a naughty boy. ; ) He actually was in my older sister's class. We didn't meet till later on at a bar. I was 23 when I met him. We have been together for 8 years. Married for 4 in August.
What state are you from, and what's your weather like right now? I am from Wisconsin. 20 minutes or so south of Green Bay. Right now it's actually really nice out at a whopping 36 degrees. Feels so warm though for what we have been getting.
If you could get a free vacation to go anywhere in the world, where would it be? Europe
What is your favorite cartoon and/or movie from your childhood? Carebears and Gummi Bears. Guess I liked Bears. : ) I also LOVED Adventures of Pippi Longstocking in real people. Also...Peter Pan in real people. Those were the best!!!

Not sure about the others but I believed in Santa Claus till I was in 5th grade. I think it was mainly becase my parents told me I had to believe or I wouldn't get anything. Ha! I was the baby so I think they wanted to hold onto the magic for a long time! I don't blame them. It's fun. I will for sure let my kids believe in Santa, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, the whole gang!
What was your favorite thing to do as a child? My parents didn't have a lot of money when I was growing up so one of our favorite things to do when we were little was to go over the bumpy road. It was a small hill with a big bump at the top and if you went fast enough, you could catch some air. So, my mom and dad would take us 3 girls for a ride over the bumpy road for fun. We loved it! Also camping. I loved to go camping when we were little. Good times!
Have you kept anything from your childhood that you will pass on to your children? Nope. I wish I did but my mom was not into hanging on to things. She would throw everything out or donate it.
How many children, in an ideal world, would you like to have? I would like 2. Dh just wants to get through this one and then see how we feel. But I would like 2.

When/how did you meet DH, and how long have you been together? We met in Oct 2003 and started dating in Nov. We were co-workers. We've been together now for 9 1/2 yrs and will be married for 4 years in May.
What state are you from, and what's your weather like right now? Originally from IL but living in WA state now. Weather is in the upper 40s and drizzly.
If you could get a free vacation to go anywhere in the world, where would it be? This one's tough, there are so many places I want to see and so many I want to go back to. Right now I'd say Ireland or Belgium (preferably while not pregnant).

We also have the cradle my H's grandfather made for him, a rocking chair his father made for him, and his favorite teddy bear that we've passed on to our daughter.
How many children, in an ideal world, would you like to have? I had always wanted 3, DH wants 2. We'll see how we feel after we have this second one whether or not we're up for the challenge of more. Also I'm getting older so don't know if I want to go through another pregnancy or not yet, but I feel like I need to decide sooner rather than later.

What is your favorite cartoon and/or movie from your childhood? I have so many favorites. I loved watching the Disney Channel. Pretty much any show on there I loved. I also liked watching the shows my mom used to watch, like Flinstones and Scooby Doo.
Did you believe in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, etc growing up? And will you continue that with your children? Yes and yes! I believed in Santa Claus until I was in like 6th grade! My parents did a great job at convincing us, I don't know if I'll be able to live up to their"legacy". lol
What was your favorite thing to do as a child? I played Barbies a lot with my sister, and we also played "Apartment" and "Store". We would grab barstools and other furniture and make pretend walls. We would even have mailboxes so we could send each other mail (our rooms were across from each other). Then we would get this little decorative tree and put it in our "apartment" and pretend it was a Christmas tree, then we'd wrap our babies clothes in wrapping paper and put it under so we could have Christmas. It was so much fun.
Have you kept anything from your childhood that you will pass on to your children? I still have a lot of my barbie dolls and stuffed animals, as well as a few outfits. I probably won't put my child in my clothes, except for maybe a photo shoot, but I will likely give them a few of my Barbies and/or stuffed animals to play with. I don't have any reason to keep them for myself.
How many children, in an ideal world, would you like to have? I originally wanted either 3 or 4, but DH said he wanted a max of two. So we compromised and said two pregnancies. I want to go through this experience more than once, and chances are we will only end up with one kid per pregnancy, so we'll both get what we want.

What state are you from, and what's your weather like right now? PA, right now it's about 40 degrees. It snowed overnight last night and we woke up to about 6 inches of snow but most of it melted during the day.

I am the eldest so when I stopped believing my parents made me an 'elf' so I could contribute and keep the secret for my younger siblings. I will do that too.

I was his trainer and not very nice to him because he asked my roommate if I was single and I was a major commitment phob so that irritated me. We became friends pretty quickly though. We have been together for 5 years, married for 1 and a half.

If you could get a free vacation to go anywhere in the world, where would it be? Europe. I would spend as much time as it took to visit all of the royal landmarks and other interesting historical sites.
What is your favorite cartoon and/or movie from your childhood? The Labrinth and The War were my favorite movies. I liked Bullwinkle as far as cartoons.

What was your favorite thing to do as a child? Play Barbies - hands down! Or go fishing with my uncle, who has since passed. He was my hero.
Have you kept anything from your childhood that you will pass on to your children? My mom bought me a "baby ring" that I will give to my child.
