As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

T&P for my Mama
My mama went to the doctor's yesterday for shortness of breath. We all get a little scared since she had leukemia in 2005. They did an EKG and it showed something. I think she said it was a valve going into her heart. So she has to get chest xrays, blood work (that might be more for her diabetes) and a stress test. Hopefully everything looks ok, and they can look into ashma. If not it could be heart disease or something they can go in and open it up...

Was she able to get anything scheduled today?
I talked to my dad last night, he didn't think she made any appt yet. She's worried how much it's going to cost. I'm looking into a new insurance for them Friday since I think they can't deny her now due to pre-existing with Obama Care act passed (before she would have to be cancer-free for 12 YEARS to get major medical). I'm going to call her today and make sure she gets the tests done.
That sucks that she has to worry about the cost of testing on top of what could actually be wrong.
I hope everything works out. i will keep my fingers crossed for her!
