I am just so unmoved. I feel like its just bloviating chatter. Also, wonder what Dennis Rodman has to say about his "friend" now?
Thoughts?
Re: North Korea
I have a few thoughts...
1. The U.N. Sanctions are like placing restraining orders on stalkers...they simply cause the stalker to escalate his/her behaviors due to the attention. I wonder what would happen if, A. the U.N. stepped back or B. they actually made some offensive military movements. I think that N. Korea sees these sanctions as jokes.
2. I think Dennis Rodman ought to be thrown in jail. At what point is it allowable for private citizens to contact, befriend and talk with international thugs? I think he undermines U.S. and U.N. efforts to properly deal with N. Korea.
I think the sanctions are a good middle ground to take at this point. It tells the rest of the world that NK's escalated threats are unacceptable without resorting to any type of military action at this point. The purpose of the UN is not to start wars or to engage in offensive military action.
Rodman is a broke, semi-recovered substance abuser who loves the limelight. I'm sure he got paid plenty for his time.
He didn't seem so broke when I saw him in Miami last year at the Winter Music Conference popping bottles at one of the parties I was at with my H. In fact, he almost ruined my friend's set when he decided to go into the DJ booth and bumped into one of the turntables causing the record to skip. He ducked out pretty quickly after he did that and I'm pretty sure there's video footage of it somewhere. Dennis Rodman is a freak.
I'm guessing the bottles were provided by the club. Odds are it was a paid appearance by the party. "Celebs" usually duck out pretty quick at the end of a paid appearance once they've punched their clock.
Possibly. Although he added no value to the party whatsoever. He actually ducked out almost immediately after he near ruined my friend's set - people boo'd him (Dennis) for that. Even if he was paid to be there, I am sure that this was the true reason he left....now I have to see if I can locate the video hehehe
