30 birthday "surprise"
So I'm the worst at trying to surprise. I am a detective by nature and my H isn't the smartest with planning things and making things happen. Long story short I found out that he is having a party for me this Saturday. I wish I didn't find this out because I knew he was trying to throw me off since my bday not till the 25th. I'm trying to get my surprise face ready and also trying to make sure our house is ready. He keeps asking me why I'm cleaning so much haha, I think he is starting to catch up that I know something. It's super sweet of him so I don't want to ruin anything but its my nature to be OCD about planning things so I'm anxious for him. UGH! Wish I never found out!

aww that stinks that you know about the party.. it's really hard to plan a surprise party for someone, especially when it's going to be in your own house!
Even though you know about the party, you don't know who's invited, what food there will be etc. so some things can still be a surprise!
Thats very sweet of your H for planning this party for you, hope it's a great time!

I agree with Christine. You won't know the details, so just have fun and let the day be all about you. Besides....it's your birthday!!! Who cares if you know there is a party, it's still YOUR birthday party.

If it makes you feel any better, a friend of ours accidentally spoiled my H's 30th birthday surprise getaway weekend in December. It happens!
