  We are going to Washington DC for the weekend, booked a hotel right in the prime location. We really wanted to go to Ireland but with his new job he cant get that much off so we have to wait boo.

  I have no idea what we will do. May is a crazy busy month for us and now with the baby on the way it's even crazier. May 5 is the day H's grandfather died, then the following Sun is Mother's day, then H's birthday is May 15 and stepmom IL's is May 18 and our anniversary is the 19th. Not to mention the next weekend is Memorial Day.

  This year H will probably get just 1 bigger gift since the dates are so close together. He wants some stuff for his truck but I'm not really sure. We aren't very traditional with the anniversary gifts like paper and all that. We may end up taking a trip since it may be our last chance. However we just went on a weekend trip and we are taking another one next month.

  We're not doing gifts, we're doing a trip.  We'll be going to Chicago for the weekend and taking Monday off work so we can spend some time together on our anniversary night without having to worry about traveling on that day.

  Absolutely no idea!  We were planning on a trip to DE to see my sister, but pushed that off to October.  Not sure.  In fact, I think H is on-call that week, so probably nothing fun or exciting at all.  Boo

  But, I would also love to hear ideas of what you ladies are doing........

  We haven't really talked about it yet. H mentioned that he wanted to do an overnight trip without the baby. That would be nice for us and my mom would LOVE to watch the baby overnight.

  We are going to a concert in Pittsburgh the 17th then going to Gettysburgh for the 18th and 19th...then driving home on the 20th...and prolly going to take the 21st off since it my bday lol.   We decided sine we were l ready going to be in Pa might as well go back to Gettysburgh since we havent since before we got engaged nd really been wanting to go again....its not our Nc trip or a cruise but Im  forward to a relaxing fun weekend trip   As far as a gift...I really want to do a boudiur shoot....we shall see lol

  this is exactly what we are doing! minus taking Monday off because I have a class for work. BUT we may take Friday off.

  as far as gifts, I sprung for baseball tickets today in tradition with the "paper" anniversary. I may get a gift card too. DH laughed at me when I told him it was a paper anniversary. I bet I get jewelry or something.

  We decided before we got married that time spent together was more important then gifts for anniversaries (especially since our birthdays are in April and May anyways). We are hoping to Road Trip to mexico...but it depends on work, so its 95% for sure.

  I'm so late in this conversation.....oh well!

  I doubt we'll do gifts, since we buy the things we want throughout the year. We're really more about doing things together and making memories. We are staying on Martha's Vineyard at the hotel we got married at for the weekend (Mother's Day) and then we are going camping in CT for the rest of the week.

  I'm late too!

  Our good friends are getting married in Charleston, SC on our anniversary and DH is in the wedding so we will definitely be there for our anniversary.  However, no babies allowed, so I may have to skip the wedding because we won't have anyone to watch her.  At times like this, I wish our parents would/could step it up, but they can't/won't.  But nonetheless, we'll have a great weekend in Charleston even if I have to skip the wedding.

  We probably won't do gifts, because we never do.  Kind of like Vineyard, we just buy things throughout the year, so our celebrations are always anticlimatic (gift-wise).

  I doubt we will do big gifts..  We are spending the weekend at the place we got married- it was a wedding gift from my aunt  we don't normally do big gifts, like pps we focus more on doing things and spending time together.
