Ok first how amazing was yesterday's weather? I cannot wait until it's like this all the time!
I know this has been asked before but I can't find it in my posts: can anyone recommend a primer and/or concealer for under eyes? I have used smashbox primer before but was looking if anyone had a drugstore brand that is nice too?
Thanks!! Bachelor finale tonight!!
Re: primer and concealer
For conclear, I use boi-ing by Benefit. It does a good job of covering up my under-eye circles, and brown spots I have on my face.
I don't use primer, but I actually just read on Pinterest that an affordable version of smashbox primer is Monistat's anti-chafing gel. It sounds really weird, but the blog that I read swore by it.
Yay Bachelor finale! I'm just hoping I can stay awake for it, haha!
Yes, people swear by Monistat as a dup for Smashbox.
I use two seperate concealers for spots and for undereye. My go-to undereye is Bobbi Brown corrector/concealer combo and often I just use the corrector. For a drugstore option, I like Maybelline's Age Rewind Brightener. The salmon/pink color does a great job of cancelling circles.
For spots, I like Clinique Even Better Concealer. Drug store option, Maybelline Age Rewind Spot Treatment and Concealer
ETA: If you are just looking for a eye primer, UD Potion Primer is supposed to be amazing. My sisters use it and it is raved about on the Beauty boards as a holy grail item. I don't use a face primer, they make me break-out plus I use either Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation or Makeup Forever HD and both last all day for me. HD is my favorite.
Personally I never understood the hype for smashbox. It just must not work on my face. It's too slippery and everytime I use it my foundation comes off so much easier. I did like their anti shine primer if I used it very very sparingly but I think it's been discontinued. Otherwise I don't use primer so don't have a rec.
for undeeye concealer I have recently been using the maybelline age rewind posted above and it's pretty good. Nothing Totally covers my dark circles but this works pretty well
Thanks for all the recs!
