Where do you hope to be in 10 years?

Hubby and I were just talking about this this weekend. We were talking about possibly moving in the 5 years or so and where we would go. His family lives in So Cal and there is always the possibility of moving closer to them, but H HATES CA traffic which is why he has never moved back. My sister lives in DE and keeps telling us to move out there, so hopefully on our trip out there this fall, we might have a better idea if we would like it out there. I like my job, but it honestly feels like it consumes every part of my being at times and I'm just not sure I want to be here in 10 years.
So I guess for me, I'm just not sure where we'll be in 10 years to be honest. Feel like I could go in any direction really.
I hope you ladies have better plans than I do!

In 10 years...wow. Weird to think about 2023.
Well, we're hoping to move back to VA this year. We currently live in northern DE and I'm really not feeling it. It is odd up here and I miss my farmland areas. I am currently interviewing for a full-time position and if I can get one, then I will be moving the end of July because it will start in August. H may have to wait until October to move which sucks
He is currently trying to get some research done. We were separated for a year, so this is nothing, but still...
Next year we are putting an offer on land that we have had our eye on for a while and that has been on the market forever. It is also walking distance to my Mom's house. We're hoping to build a house on it by 2015.
We have some vacations planned like NYC this year, St. Maarten's next year and Ireland the year after that.
In 2015, we plan to TTC and by 2023, I'm hoping we'll have 2 little ones (boy and girl) and be settled with a complete family.
Sounds like a dream, but we'll see...hahahaa
in 10 years....I would hope (and pray) that I am FINALLY finished getting my BSW by then and in the job that I actually want. (and have student debt paid off!)
Hopefully by then we will have 1-2 biological or adopted children and fostering a third child.
We would like to sell our house and move into something bigger (then would be able to take more foster children.), But that's not a top priority, so it may or may not happen in that time frame.

I'd like to be living in a nice house, with a nice (not huge but good sized) yard and have a couple of kids running around (2, I hope by then!) and also a dog!
I also want to be more comfortable, $ wise. I guess we just need to figure out a way to make more $, save more, and budget better. Hopefully we can do this before 10 years from now though!

In 10 years, I hope that we are finished renovating our church into our home. Like totally done! Hubby's shop/garage space and all.
We'll ideally have 2 kids and I'll (ideally) have been able to be a stay at home mom until the kids are in school. Once they go to school, i'd like to go back to work I think.
We'll have gone on some more vacations, specifically, in the next 10 years my travel bucket list is: Eastern Canada, London, San Diego and Orlando.
Other than that.. just happy and healthy!
A lot of the same as PPs. We'd like to buy a house, have some kiddos and pay off our student loans. A lot's still up in the air, especially where we'll settle and buy a house. I'd like to move back closer to our parents and H wants to live on the NH seacoast. It would be nice to be a SAHM but I don't see it happening.
We'd like to do some traveling, but that will depend on when we pay off loans and if H gets a promotion in 2 years like he's planning as well as when we have kids. I definitely want to do at least one big trip before babies, maybe Ireland or Alaska.
In 10 years, I'd like for us to be in a bigger house, in a neighborhood just as nice as this one, but in a better school district. More land would be lovely.
I'd LOVE for us to have our family with us in that house.. a child or two, and another dog.
Hopefully, I will be a SAHM, but since the children are in school, I split my days between helping H with the business and volunteering somewhere like the science center.
And of course, I had a blast at the 10 year anniversary May 2012 Massively Epic GTG!

In ten years, I'd like to have moved into our forever home. Hopefully we'll have two more kids by then. Really that's all I want. I want to be a soccer mom. I know it isn't for everyone but that's always what I've wanted.
