When did you reveal to your boss(es) that you were pregnant? I didn't have this issue last time because I was a Nanny... I just told her right away because I couldn't do certain things with her child anymore. Now I'm in a more professional environment and to boot, another woman in my department is expecting at the end of June. I figured I would tell them at the beginning of April (after Easter) because I would be 13 weeks and out of my first trimester. Also, I don't have morning sickness this time around (thank god, that was NOT fun for 18 weeks). TIA!

Wow... that's ballsy of them. How did they get away with firing you? That just seems horrible. I've been trying to hide my little belly which is why I am so paranoid about my weight gain.
I just never fought it. It would have costed us more money then it was worth. He was a slimy attorney who would have had free representation or be self represented and I would have went bankrupt trying. So instead I just collected unemployment for 2+ years. He tried to fight that too but I won.
But you're far enough along now that if they suspect anything, you arent too far off from telling them anyway.

I think I was four months. I know that I was out of the first trimester and wanted to say something because i had started to show. Some people suspected at our Christmas party (close work friends) because i didn't drink. I said I was sick and was drinking ginger ale and cranberry so to others, it looked like a drink.
Work was really good. I commute to NYC and so my doctor said no more of that with a month to go...which I was happy about b/c i was having fears i'd give birth on Metro North or something! I ended up working from home the month before...and thank goodness because the first day i did, it was 105 degrees out and there was no way I could have handled that!!!
I think anytime in the beginning half of the second tri is acceptable. Just give them enough time to make plans for when your gone or get a replacement if youre not returning (not sure I'd tell them if I wasn't retuning til closer though).
