I have real hardwood floors and I can't seem to get them to shine

Any suggestions on floor cleaner? They are waxed with a thick coat.
Re: hardwood floors
I have real hardwood floors as well and I use vinegar and warm water to clean them. It leaves my floors shiny and streak free. The link below has good information that I hope you find useful...

our hw floors are 11 yrs old and I get compliments on them all the time about how nice they look. They are prefinished Bruce hardwood floors
Murphys oil soap is the only thing that has ever been used on them.
Also, we do not wear shoes in the house.....we dont ask guests to take theirs off ...we just always take ours off in the house unless we have company
The only way to get REALLY shiny wood floors is to put a coat of semi gloss or high gloss polyurethane on them. Get the wax off first. Some people say you have to sand first, but I'm not sure. We had to sand our floors anyway, so we did before we put polyurethane on it.
