if you get an ultrasound (I will) at the first apt (8 weeks) will you get a photo of it to take home?
Re: (@) First apt. Question
I don't know the answer, but I just wanted to warn you that it's an internal ultrasound. ?That has shocked many of my friends on their first visit.
Your photo will be a blob. ?Remember SBP's with the helpful labels??
thats ok i'm expecting a glob - as Dh calls it so endearingly.
I am just hoping to show everyone a pic for Christmas. Maybe I can get a Santa hat sticker to put on its "head" in the pic?
I didn't a photo until the NT scan either. There wasn't really anything to see at the 1st u/s anyway - the only thing worth seeing was the flicker of the heartbeat.
Yeah it's the internal u/s but it's not a big deal at all. You'll totally forget about it when the image appears on the screen.
thats ok about the internal u/s - i'm easy.
wait - do you have to have a full bladder for the internal u/s or other u/s's?
?
Not for the internal. ?They are standard procedure for yearly check-ups at the OBGYN here. ?I had an empty bladder as I had just given a urine sample and it was fine. ??
good point. urine sample = no full bladder, lol.
I think it depends on your doctor's office. I never had to have one for any of mine.
