I am trying my hardest to be friendly with my future in-laws, but due to our past, they won't even talk to me. They came to visit us 2 summers ago, showing up a day early, the day I just got back from 2 weeks of non-stop work (on a fishing boat). I hadn't even had time to shower or start laundry before they showed up! Then I was trying to catch up on sleep and get into a normal routine again that entire week they were there, which then had me coined as "lazy" and "unappreciative of their son".
Skip ahead a year and a half...I partied while my bf was away (with friends, nothing too outrageous) except one night where I was seriously stupid and made a huge mistake of sleeping with one of my friends (yea..I know...I'm an idiot). His parents have finally gone from the "I hate her" stage to the "Never mention her and we're ok!" stage...
How do I deal with this, with our wedding in 3 months and his parents won't answer me directly, they'll only talk to their son, even if I send them an email?
Please be nice, I know I screwed up, and we've gone to couples therapy and gotten past this (His record isn't squeaky clean either!)

How the heck do they know that you were unfaithful?
The accusations of you being lazy are ridiculous. BUT - if my kids future spouse cheated, I'd be pretty pissed. All the more reason he NEVER should have shared that information, espe

Are you sure you want to marry this guy?
And quite frankly, he should have booted you out the door when you cheated on him...honey, you are NOT ready for a lifelong committment to one person.

Uh, yeah. If in the future my son's girlfriend cheats on him, I'm going to hate that hobag forever. Great if he gets over it, but I might not be that eager to do so.
So the week they came to visit you were a bad host and i
