Help! I'm in debt and can't get out!

I am considering a debt management program because I'm 9000 dollars in debt and I have collection agencies calling me and my stress is getting to me, I am a student and I want to be married debt free with a good credit score so that I don't affect my future husband's credit and our possibilities of getting a home and my ability to get a new car.

Any feedback would be great thanks!

And I have an itemized list off all the debts, but I don't really make a budget because I don't have a set amount that I get paid per month.

  • Of course you can get out of debt - but it will require changes in your lifestyle now.

STOP using the credit cards if you have not already done so.  Keep one for an emergency (the one with longest history) and freeze it in a block of ic

  • You have been given some great tips.  You can & will get out of debt but it takes discipline.

Step one.  This will hurt but you have to do it.  Take all of your credit cards out of your wallet.  Take the general c

  • It looks like the majority of your debt is student loan debt, which is not so bad.. The interest on student loans should be a lot lower than credit cards.  Focus on paying off the cc balances first, which probably have the highest interest rate. &

  • Another thought I had is you could possibly take out a student loan to pay off the credit cards ( assuming they were spent on living expenses while in school) & help with any living expenses & books for school.  The student loan might not cha
