Re: marriott aruba surf club...
We stayed there last year and it was wonderful. Tons of stuff around the pool for kids to do. We took our 9 year old and he had a blast. They have activities everyday for kids. They do have a video den area for kids over 13.
The lazy river is to die for. But I suggest taking your own tubes and writing your name on them. Sometimes people will leave theirs when they go home.
The beach isnt the greatest because of the peir and the boats in and out, but I hear they are working on fixing that area.
We arent going this year only because we wanted to push our vacation up and couldnt get in for January. We will be going back again next April though.
We normally stay in the low rises on Eagle Beach, but couldnt get in so we took a chance on the Surf Club, and never regretted a single day. This is now our go to spot for Aruba.
Loved the pool and the really big 3 bedroom suite. The beach was much nicer at the other end of the stretch of high rises. Tons of sea weed on the Marriott beach when we were there 2 years ago.
