Maybe TMI question

I woke up two days ago needing to go to the bathroom, then had some pain, so I assumed it was a bladder infection. I called the doctor and they called in a prescription for antibiotics. Today is my third day on them and I still have urgency, but not really any pain. That's not what's bothering me though. I also have this pressure at the opening of my vagina. Like a heaviness, or like there is something there stretching it open. Ive had it since yesterday morning. Idk if this is related to my bladder issues or cause for concern with the baby. I'm at work, so I have to wait until my break to call the doctor, and just wanted to know if any of you have experienced this. TIA

Re: Maybe TMI question

  • Did they just prescribe antibiotics or did you go in and have a urine test? If I were you I would go in and be seen- I have chronic UTI's but I've never had that sensation. Better safe then sorry..

  • I get that. Never during pregnancy though. It's awful. They don't really know why. Feels kind of like spasms. I saw a ME in January and she treated me witty uti meds and something else. It was a 10 day treatment of both meds, which is unusual.

  • I know the feeling and I have talked to my ob/gyn about it. Sometimes it is painfula nd sometimes it is just pressure and feels like something is pushing out. My doc said that this is a common symptom of endometriosis. I had it before during and after

  • Wiggy- thanks! I was wondering if it was from my endo. It makes sense to me. The other possibility that my mom pointed out was that it could be from baby, though I'm thinking it might be too early for that. I dont know if baby is that strong yet to be cau
