More support for marriage equality

I'm sure we all heard about the Republican congressman who came out in support of marriage equality this week, but I was so happy to see that The American Academy of Pediatrics is also vocally supporting it.  I know gay couples who have struggled to adopt, so I see this as real progress!!

  • that's good news.  I figure they might as well make the marriage legal.  DH had a meeting this morning with a lesbian couple getting married next year.  Obviously it's just a ceremony and not legal where we live.

  • Senator Rob Portman is the person the op is referencing.  He was on Romney's short list for the 2012 campaign and won a resounding victory in Ohio a few years ago when he ran against Lee Fisher.  He's a liked figure who is conservative in views
    now i know how Nancy Kerrigan felt. that's insight into SCARY ISLAND. you have no clue what really went down.
