Good vibes needed- job related
So, I heard back on that job I was telling you all about. There is another step (I have already had multiple interviews)
they are going to call, issue me a topic and i have 30 minutes to write about it and send it back to them. I guess it is a test of me "meeting deadlines "and also a writing sample- even though I had already submitted some.
I am assuming that myself and a few others are doing this and so this is the final piece.
I am hoping this is just a formality, I mean with a college degree a master's and 7 years in the industry under my belt, i assume they know I am able to write formally and issue press releases lol.
Anyway- good vibes please!
Also, if you have any tips for writing concisely and quickly send them my way.
I am so anxious and hope I get the job, but on the other side of it, i am anxious if I do get it- because my boss is having surgery and will be out of the office the first week of April (probably when I would receive the offer)... and I am going to have to wait to tell her until she back the next week, that is IF i even get it, and then throw the news on her.
Does anyone think I should have a conversation withher now about another opportunity being a possibility?

Thanks!

I am def. not taking a counter offer or trying to bargain to stay here. I did that once before at a former employ
