Easter Menu when you go to church first?

We'll be hosting lunch at our house, but I don't think we'll be back from church till noon, lunch at 1. So I need ideas that are done ahead of time. I'm leaning a lot towards a bunch of different types of sandwiches. One guest is dairy free, 3 toddlers (who are all good eaters, but still toddlers), 10 people total. I could also do crab cakes benedict since I can poach the eggs ahead of time, I've done that before.

  • You could also do crustless quiche to avoid dairy.

When my family does brunch right after church, my mom always leaves the quiche out on the counter to come to room temp during the hour-long mass, then pops them in the oven to warm up a bi
