Flooring and selling the house
We have a row house, the second floor consists of a large hall closet (could be a half bath so large), Brooks' room, bathroom and our bedroom. We had always planned on doing bamboo floors throughout but never got around to it. Well it's time. We did Brooks' room before he was born and have enough left over to do 2/3 of the hall. So we would just have to buy for our bedroom and the extra 1/3. But since we're selling we don't know that we want to put in the extra money or effort. The hall currently has pergo and we initially thought we would continue that into our bedroom. But then got thinking about it. It's about 75 cents more a square foot for the bamboo but the labor is about double. Do you think we would get a better return? I'm thinking if nothing else people would be interested in it for that and others won't care but it will look nicer.

Re: Flooring and selling the house
Thanks again for all the advice. John got the Ike's floors installed in like 5 hours and that included fixing where the previous person did a crap job around the door. The room looks really nice and the cohesion between the two rooms is awesome.
