Anyone been to Curacao?

My husband and I are planning a trip to Curacao in September. We're planning to stay at the Hilton in Willemstad. We tend to be pretty adventurous and enjoy hiking, snorkeling, diving, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to do while there? Favorite dive spots (especially ones good for beginners, we each have <10 dives)? Best beaches? Awesome restaurants? Thanks!

  • yes! it's my favorite island! i ddn't stay there but out on the beach more. there's a ton of great dive spots btu i'm not a diver so i can't help there-sorry. i know that the lions dive hotel has a dive shop next to it that was busy EVERY morning. from th

  • There is a sunken tugboat that is very popular for snorkelers and divers.  We did a catamaran ride to an island about 45 minutes away.  It was a great trip.  There were baby turtles and it was relaxing to just be on the beach.
