Have any of you considered running for a local office?
If it weren't for the mudslinging and the effects on my children I would consider running for local office of some sort. I just don't think I could subject my family to the election process but I sometimes daydream about running and making a difference. I know you can make it a difference without holding office but still. Does anyone else ever think about running, even if it's only a crazy daydream?

It has crossed my mind, but I have some skeltons in my closet to be doing it. And, while I could handle the possible heat, I'd feel a ton of embarassment in front of parts of my family.
No. I have several family members and friends who hold office and it's just not i desire.
Plus, I wouldn't really appeal to many constituents. I'm a niche market.
