Welcome, baby!

Well, she's here!

Somewhat short version:

I showed up at the hospital around 10:30pm already 5cm dilated.  They broke my water.  Contractions started.  Epidural two hours later.  Made it to 8cm by 6am and stalled there until around 12pm.  They started pitocin to get me to 10cm. Shortly after I needed an epidural boost because the contractions hurt like whoa.

Just after the boost, I couldn't feel my legs.  They came in minutes later and found that I was already 10cm dilated.  I probably could have done without the boost.  Since I couldn't feel my legs, I had to wait TWO hours after that to push until the epidural wore off.  I pushed from 4pm(ish) to 7:30pm(ish).  I started begging to stop around 6pm.

Between 7:30pm and 8:00pm, they came in and said, "I'm sorry... C-section is our only option.  Can't do a vacuum.  Can't do forceps.  She's just not where she needs to be."

Sooo... Lillian Ruth was born at 8:46pm via C-section... 9lbs2oz!!!  So... thus explains why little girl didn't want to come out!!

We are all doing well.  Mom has some recovery to do here, but I can handle it. :)
