Home Office Deductions
I know if you work from home that you can deduct expenses from taxes. My job just set me up so I can do overtime from home and one day when we have a family I would be able to work from home full time. I would be paid from the company normally and have taxes taken out so it is not a 1099 type of deal. Because I would normally be able to work from the office as it is not due to travel restrictions would I be able to take normal home office deductions.

I would double check with your accountant, but I'm not sure you can deduct it since you aren't being 1099'd from your work. Technically they are already paying you for the work you do at home.
