september disney trip update ?

We were looking at going to Disney in September but DD is starting kindergarten this year it's only for 2 1/2 hrs that she will be going for. I know the 2nd week of school they will have Labor day off + the 2 days (thurs and Fri) off for the Jewish holiday. DH now is looking at trying to go that week this way DD only misses 2 days of school vs 5. What do you guys think? This would be the only year we would be taking her out of school for a trip bc after that any trip will have to be during school vacas or summer time. We can't go in the summer bc DH is having surgery and will not be able to move alot for for about 6 weeks and than needs to start PT. So he would like to try and go September. Thanks ladies for your advice. But just not sure about kindergarten.

  • While I probably wouldn't do it (I was always the one in school who hated missing any days, and I see that already in my preschooler), that does seem like the ideal week to go since it would only be two days that she'd be missing.
