Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Stay at Home Update
I turned in our intent to return forms to the principal today saying we both intended on returning next year. When I saw my principal in the hallway she asked me why I checked that I intended to return. I told her it is what she told me to do. She said she knew I wasn't intending to return and if I did, it would only be until my husband gets hired elsewhere. She told me DH will be renewed as long as he keeps up the pace he's had since she talked to him and that she was very happy to see him take her constructive criticism (for the most part he is doing things the same way he did before). She came around later with an updated form on which she checked the box for not returning and wrote "staying home to take care of newborn". I signed the form and she assured me if anything happened that they did not renew my husband's contract they would offer a position to me. Now she is hoping he will be strong enough to be the lead teacher on the 4th grade team next year. How things change in just over a week?!
So I guess I'll be able to stay at home like we planned for! YAY!
