Well, this feels weird...
I'm on maternity leave, or disability? We were in L&D on Saturday night for contractions, everything was fine... Today I get an email from my Doctor telling me my leave starts today. I packed up, said goodbye and left.
It's bittersweet. I was ready, just didn't know it would be the same day sorta thing.

That is weird that they didn't say that in L&D on Saturday...was there a different doc on call?
Well hopefully after a little time to let it sink in you can enjoy your time off. Hopefully get some stuff done but really just relax!

I was pulled out of work suddenly, too (at 38w1d) and yes, it was weird. I am going back in September, but I didn't get to say goodbye to my kids, etc.
