Oh how my days blur together. Lily is 2 and 1/2 weeks old. We are doing well. The last few days were kind of awful but today is a lot better. My mom came to visit last week. She was a huge help. She did a lot of cooking and cleaning for me. My sister came to visit for Easter weekend since she had Friday off. While I was glad for the company I'm also happy they went home. I'm still sleeping in the chair at night with Lily. She won't sleep for more than an hour in her crib. I think it's because she's so small and doesn't maintain heat well. Even swaddled she moves around a lot and won't settle into a deep sleep. If I let her sleep on my chest she's dead to the world for 3-4 hours. We can watch tv, do laundry, be pretty loud and she'll sleep through it.
From what I read on my mom board serval other babies are the same way. So I'm not freaking out. Just hoping in the next few weeks I can get her sleeping in the crib or pack n' play. Sunday she was super fussy, normally she's a very quiet baby. But she was just crying inconsolably. I'm thinking it was something I ate. Monday she was better but still fussy and I had a migraine all day. Last night and today we are both back to normal. I'm not sure what I ate that caused it. We had dinner at MILs on Saturday of BBQ. And Chocolate cake for dessert. I hope it wasn't the chocolate.
Re: It's Tuesday, right?

I too hope it wasn't the chocolate!

I'm glad you found a way to get her to sleep. Even though it may not be ideal. I am sure in time she will sleep elsewhere. Are you breastfeeding? I was just wondering because you said about the food keeping her up. I am planning on breastfeeding and do
