In January of 2014, my mom and I are going to Orlando to run in the Walt Disney Marathon. We will be there from Friday through Monday, and the race is early on Saturday (we will have the 2nd half of the day to do things).
What would everyone recommend we do while we are down there? It is just her and I (ages 25 & 50). She went to Disney on their honeymoon 32 years ago, and I have never been. We will be running through Magic Kindom and Epcot for the race, but what would everyone recommend we do? She isn't into rides, and I love Harry Potter so I wouldn't mind to hit up that theme park.
Also, any recommendations on where to stay and is 4 days long enough or should we go longer?

You can also stay at a Downtown Disney hotel. They are not as "kiddie" oriented. Many now offer free shuttle to/from the airport. You can walk to Downtown Disney and catch the free busses to/from the various parks from there. If you're not SO into ride
