Re: Our Budget

  • Congrats on deciding to work down your debt, and good luck with your IVF cycle.

I don't know FPU - Are you "snowballing" your CC/loan payments? If so, it looks like you'll have CCs 1 and 2 paid off by the month a

  • Thanks for everyone's input.  The one big thing, like I mentioned in my PP is our car payment.  That's really the big expense at this point.  As for our phone bill, our contract is up on 4/19, this month, and we plan to cut down to about

  • Thanks for posting.

I would echo the PPs about reducing that car payment either by selling the current vehicle and buying a cheaper one or by refinancing (as long as you do not add any time back to the loan) your existing auto loan for a lower ra

  • Here are a few suggestions if you want to really buckle down and get things paid off.

    1. Put your cell phones down to calling plans only, no data.
    2. Start buying cheaper dog food for your dogs. $120 seems like quite a bit each month in pet ex

  • No response the recommendation to sell that car and get something else??

My guess is that you are upside down on new vehicle  because you rolled debt into the purchase when you got rid of your old upside down vehicle.  (Which we recomm
