Kids party favors

Suggestions? I don't want to waste money in the dollar aisle.  Homemade cookies? Straight candy? Coloring books? My BFF sent home three sugar cookies in different colors and that was awesome because I got one. What else? What do you hate?

  • I will just throw this one in...my neighbor's son is having his party at the same place the day before my kids party. She is making super hero capes for each child with their name embroidered on them.  Not to mention she's making center pieces for

  • I'm a fan of favors that can be eaten!  For G's party this year I'm thinking of just doing some cookies or something--I totally put favors on the back burner and then ended up forgetting to even do them last year, oops.  And it sounds like yo

  • Sounds like the consensus is food and coloring stuff--works for me!!  I may do sidewalk chalk too, depending on how many kids we have coming.

  • I usually go to dollar aisle on Target and goodie bag stuff there. I try not to put too much candy in the bags. But for M's last party I was able to find little spiral notebooks, pencils, a magnifying glass, and stickers. Stuff kids usually like.

  • I like the food/coloring/chalk too. The little toys just end up upseting my kids when they break or they get lost in the house/car or one of us steps on them in the middle of the night.

For G's bday this year, M and I made little mons

  • I think coloring book, crayons, fruit snacks, cookies an a little candy would make cute goodies bags.

The lady who can make capes for every kid at the party has way to much time on her hands. PLUS adults should not be judging your party to anoth
