Does a class exist?

My husband and I are thinking about getting pregnant. He has a PhD and with an engineering background, prefers that everything is carefully planned. With that in mind, he would like to take a class to learn about what to expect as a parent. Not your typical prenatal class where you learn about pregnancy and newborns but more along the lines of financial planning tips, topics to think about including schooling, how to better prepare and maintain your relationship with an additional family member... I know there may be books on this topic and I've had a hard time finding any information about actual classes. His first language is not English so a class with the important bits summarized would work much better than a stack of books. Does a course or workshop like this even exist?
