Keeping fingers crossed

Keeping our fingers crossed. We did the leg work of ordering credit reports for all 3 companies on hubbie, even filed a few disputes to get information fixed. Figured out exactley who he owes & how much. Over the weekend we applied for a loan to pay off all the debts owed. Now just waiting for answer from bank. If we get the loan, things will be tight for us each month but at least the calls & letters will stop & slowly over time hubbies credit will continue to improve. We've already raised it 80 points in 4 months but need to keep it going up. Trying to make right for his past mistakes and it's not easy, but it's the right thing to do for the businesses that didn't get paid in the past.

Re: Keeping fingers crossed

  • I admire you for trying to make sure everything is taken care of appropriately and taking responsibility for it all.  I hope the loan comes through, so everything settles down a little.  Great job!
