Infant Swim Lessons?

Hi Everyone!  I've been MIA for a while, as having a 6 month old keeps me hopping!  Hope you are all doing well! 

 I am looking to put DD into swim lessons.  I know that the Y does them, but I was wondering if you know of anywhere else, and/or which Y location you would recommend.

Re: Infant Swim Lessons?

  • Try the high schools near you or Parks and Recreation for towns around you. We did a high school last year and we are doing a town pool this year. We looked into the Y, but didn't want to have to purchase a membership on top of lessons. Good luck!
  • Our community offered them at a local school - your community's website may have additional information.  Also, I think CCAC offers children's lessons through their community education courses.
  • Citiparks (city of Pittsburgh) offers infant swim lessons at a bunch of pools in the city.

    Oliver Bath House which is indoor has a session starting on April 20th - it's 5 Saturdays. I'm going to look into it for Gabe.
