Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Is there a way to download movies onto an iPad (v1) and/or Kindle Fire and play them without internet access? This may be a stupid question, but I can't figure out how to do it.

I think that you have to actually download and save the file to the device. I believe that is how iTunes works by default. I am not sure if Amazon's library allows you to save it or only streams the movies.

They will need to be files saved in iTunes on the pc that syncs with the iPad and then they get transferred over to the iPad when you sync in the videos folder. You can do this with home movies, movie files from DVDs and with movies purchased from amaz
