Help me plan my vacay to the Big Island / Kauai

So I just booked a trip to Hawaii for DH and I in Feb. 2014. We are staying at teh Marriott properties on both islands. Help me plan what to do, places to eat, etc. on each island. On the BI, we will definitely be doing the Volcano Nat'l Park and staying at a B&B in Hilo (any recommendations are welcome) for a couple of nights prior to heading to Kauai. We will be on each island for a week.

Follow the road all the way until it ends on the north shore of Kauai. That's where the best/ most tropical stuff is
For the Big Island, I highly recommend doing the night manta dive or snorkel. You can look up videos on youtube to see what it's like, but it's a really awesome experience. For daytime snorkeling, Two Step
