Photography
I love taking pictures, but I'm not particularly good at it. I took a workshop last Thursday with Amy Ro and Mod Mama in Providence. They were nice enough to let me bring Clare, who thankfully slept in the moby wrap the whole time like I expected her to!
I've been around photography for a long time because my mom really liked it, so I had a film SLR camera in high school and college. But I haven't put in the time since then to do photography and taking pictures of my kids usually turn out awful because I find moving targets challenging. The class reminded me of a lot of the basic principles and gave tips for capturing better pictures of little kids.
So, my attempt at it this past weekend was with DS, and I managed to get what I think is a good picture of my chubby little dude 
I can see a lot of things wrong with it, too, so I really hope Amy doesn't lurk here anymore (she used to be a nestie...) but it makes me smile.
