Non 'diaper bag' question...
The only diaper bag I've ever loved (being a little dramatic) is the blue canvas pottery barn bag, it's a cool 169$. Four months ago I was all over it but never pulled the trigger. Now that I'm not working and trying to not be so frivolous I'm not in a place to spend that much on a bag. I have two diaper bags (gifts, but really I hate them).
Today I was in tjmaxx making a return and I saw a pretty good Izod blue canvas bag. I'm almost in love with it. The problem is it does not have a top zipper. It is very deep and does clasp, but does not fully close. Also, it doesn't have any outside pockets to throw a few bottles in. (not sure if I actually need this?). Do you think this would always be an issue? I keep thinking of putting the bag under the stroller and sheet falling out. I don't want another bag sitting around, but I do love this one.
Anyone have a bag that isn't a 'real diaper bag', would no zipper be a no go? I think if I keep it nice and organized it would be okay bc it's so deep.
Also, how often do you usen and what do you have in your diaper bag?

I couldn't use a bag with no outside pockets. It's great to have DD's sippy cup easily available when we are out and about and now she can get it out herself. Also, I use the front pocket on our diaper bag for my keys so I don't have to go
My H broke the zipper on ours. It's not a big deal.
I'm so torn. I didn't even think about Sippy cups and kids taking apart the bag!

All of the diaper bags I have owned have zippers or snaps, but I rarely zip or snap them. I find tge zippers to be a PITA, when I have a screaming baby and one hand.
