Play dates, guns and the question...

Read an interesting article on CNN about "Play dates, guns and the question, 'Is there a gun in the house?' When you should ask", which talked about how to approach your child's friends parents on the topic, when they go for playdates. http://www.cnn.com/2013/04/10/living/guns-parenting/index.html With having a young child, just learning to walk I haven't even considered how I would approach once she gets a little older. I have had to ask family members when we're going to visit about how they are kept, and ev

  • I was just thinking about this as dd has just started having a few play dates without me. It's her best friend from daycare so we know them to an extent. Definitely will be more of a concern when older.
