We're moving to Indiana

In august. DH just got into MBA school :)

He turned down Duke last year because we got this opportunity to live in London, but the timing is right to head back after a year. I'd love to stay longer, but it makes the most sense for us.

We're going to ND because they have a great masters in not for profit admin. The classes from august to may are at night, then the summer classes are during the day. Its perfect for a teacher :)

So next year I'll just teach. The year after, hopefully I'll be working on my masters as well (mine is one year, his is two).

I actually like a lot of things about South bend, so I'm excited. I am NOT looking forward to the culture shock of moving from London to SB though.

  • Congrats! Please eat many meals at Fiddler's Hearth for me and report back. Also, please kick some serious Charlie Weis butt for me.

And if you feel so compelled, pop into the new law school building and tell me that the current students are benefiting from the suffering I endured in the craptastic old building!

Where do you think you'll teach?  I hear the public schools there are scary (though I'm sure you're used to that after b-more).

  • It must be nice to have a solid plan, though! I'm happy for you, Irish! Sounds like you will both be able to get what you want. And congrats to your hubby on getting in!
