Good first sonogram, but keeping an eye on my pancreas...
We went for our first ultrasound yesterday and everything looks good, measuring right on schedule. Then she went over anything on my medical history that might cause a red flag. Just my luck, she found something. :P
She's going to keep a close eye on my pancreatic numbers. In 2010, I had pancreatitis that they think was caused by the birth control I was on. She said that if it was the birth control, it was caused by the hormones in it. Those same hormones get even higher during pregnancy. So there's a chance I could get another bout of pancreatitis when the hormones keep going up. Here's hoping that's not what caused my original pancreatitis so I don't have to go through that again!
