Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

  • Alone? no.  If DH was not interested or could not attend, I would invite a friend to go with me.

  • I have- it is no big deal. Last time I was in NYC for a conference and my favorite band was playing over in Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Me (and hundreds of other people) took the subway, walked to and through the park and enjoyed the show. It was night by

  • I've done plenty of traveling on my own in other countries, so yes, I would. I'd just be smart about it.
  • I would consider going. I use to go to concerts in my home town alone. But as a pp said, you have to be smart about it. If you can, book a hotel close to venue so you can either walk or take taxi to concert. I would get familiar with route from hotel to v
  • I probably wouldn't. I would take DH or a friend. But I'm not really sure why I feel that way, since I obviously go other places on my own.

     It also might depend on the band. Different concerts attract different elements.
