Sending Good Vibes

I hope everyone is safe today!!!!!

Worried and thinking about everyone near and far.

What a horrible day yesterday was and today is worse I feel like, learning about all the heartache.

My husband and I had plans to go with friends to the marathon yesterday, but beacause I gave my two weeks notice I told my boss i would come in, so my husband stayed home as well.

Our friends are luckily fine, they were in a bar a block away and were all ushered out the back door. We got in touch with them via facebook and they were fine, but it took them hours to make it home and they said it was extreme chaos leaving the bar and they were afraid people would be trampled.

I guess I can't get my head around the fact that you can't even GO out to support a fun/good cause or go to a sporting event without the risk of losing your limb or your life. If you can't even enjoy watching runners and peole come together from all communities and states and towns, what can you enjoy?

I have such a mix of emotions as well. It is so sad... but to see people coming together again to support each other is really really positive - and such a change from how I feel our country has been operating lately. I am also SO grateful that it
