Oahu and Lanai recs
We are spending 2 weeks in Hawaii this summer. The first week we will be in Oahu for a family wedding. Then DH and I are going to Lanai for a week.We'll be staying with several family members in the Ko Olina area at a timeshare while in Oahu (so we want to get out of the house, lol) and we'll be at a resort in Lanai.
Any must-sees or dos? I know there will be a lot more to do on Oahu than Lanai, but we're looking forward to relaxing a little bit (I just have a bit of an active personality and don't want to sit around an entire week). We like the outdoors and don't care about the nightlife scene.
Some items on our list for Oahu include: Pearl Harbor, International Market, Polynesian Cultural Center, Diamond Head, Dole Plantation, and the Stairway to Heaven (if we're able to get in). Is this too much to cram in a week? Anything to skip?
Not really sure what we'll do in Lanai - I think there's some hiking but I hear it's not ideal for swimming?
We've been to Maui before but I understand that each island is so unique.

The International Market isn't worth the trip to Waikiki from Ko Olina. Instead go to the swap meet at the stadium, which will be a lot closer and you'll see the same stuff as they have at the market.

That is great info! I think we would be doing most of the exploring on our own, so I will definitely check out the Bishop Museum and the other places recommended.
