Any translators out there?

Hi everyone! I'm popping on over from TK and was wondering if there were any translators out there or anyone who knows any translators. I'm asking this question to a few people IRL, but haven't really gotten too much information yet. Does anyone know of any certification programs online? I'm a little leery of all of the ones I see when I google them, and want to give a certification a try before I jump into a pile of debt getting my Masters in it (I have a BA in Arabic Studies). TIA!

The only time I have used them, I have gotten them through the UN.
As for interpreters, I usually get them through agencies or court reporters. I have never known one to be certified, just fluent.
